The J. R. Simplot Company became the business partner of Indian Hills Elementary School in August of 1990. 

The main focus has been to bring science into the classroom.  This has been accomplished by Simplot developing modules to take into classes and presenting the ideas at Science Night, an evening open to families to see what the students learned.  Learn more about Science Night.

Other projects Simplot has participated in include providing owl pellets and butterfly kits for third grade, gold panning for fourth grade's Idaho History Day, and rocket kits for sixth grade.
