The feedlot in Grand View, Idaho is located just 60 miles southwest of Boise, Idaho.  The feedlot spans 750 acres.  Not only is the feedlot protected by a natural rimrock, but also benefits from minimal rainfall and moderate temperatures year round.  Average annual precipitation is 6.6 inches and the average annual temperature is 67 degrees.  Grand View boasts the largest holding capability in the United States, with a one-time capacity of 150,000 head.  We can feed pens from 100 to 1,000 head. 

The feedlot in Pasco is referred to as Simplot Feeders Limited and is located 15 miles southeast of Pasco, Washington on 500 acres of land.  The feedlot which opened in 1968, has a capacity of 90,000 head.  It has specialized in custom-feeding cattle since it's inception.  The Pasco feedlot also boasts a mild climate with 65 degrees for the average temperature and around 7 inches of annual rainfall.  Simplot Feeders is located adjacent to a Tyson meat packing operation, allowing us to walk cattle from our feedlot to the plant.  This increases the value of the animals by $10 to $15 per head because of freight savings and increase in carcass yield.
